Barry Mccardel

Barry McCardel is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hex, a collaborative data workspace platform, and is currently based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing this enterprise software startup, he worked as a Product Manager at Palantir Technologies and held various data-focused analytics positions across the technology sector. He completed his undergraduate education by earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Under his executive leadership, Hex has scaled to serve major enterprise customers and secured over $100 million in total venture funding from institutional investors, including Sequoia Capital. In late 2023, McCardel directed the general availability launch of Hex Magic, integrating new artificial intelligence capabilities directly into the core analytics platform. His ongoing professional focus centers on expanding business-to-business software solutions and developing advanced collaborative data science tooling for modern teams.
