Ayyappan R. is a Bengaluru, India-based angel investment entity and entrepreneurial venture that backs early-stage startups and operates the premium quick commerce subscription platform FirstClub. The investment portfolio focuses primarily on the commerce, lifestyle, and food and beverage sectors, holding active equity stakes in consumer brands such as Third Wave Coffee, ZILO, and other emerging retail concepts. Operating alongside these three direct investments, the FirstClub delivery network manages four dark stores offering over 4,000 distinct stock-keeping units and maintains a dedicated workforce of 185 employees. The operational business has secured substantial venture capital, including an $8 million seed round and a subsequent $23 million Series A round led by Accel and RTP Global, reaching a valuation of approximately $120 million. The primary operating venture, FirstClub, was officially founded in the year 2024 by Ayyappan Rajagopal.
