Axel Radermacher

Axel Radermacher is the Co-Founder and Head of Product at Odys Aviation, a venture-backed sustainable aviation startup currently based in Long Beach, California. He originally co-founded the hybrid-electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft manufacturer under the corporate name Craft Aerospace in 2019, later guiding the enterprise through the Y Combinator accelerator program during its Summer 2021 batch. Prior to entering the commercial aviation industry, Radermacher served as the Chief Vehicle Engineer for EV Platforms at California-based Karma Automotive. During his tenure there, he directed the architectural development of advanced electric vehicle platforms and managed complex engineering initiatives spanning luxury sports cars, heavy-duty commercial trucks, and specialized off-road vehicles. Radermacher maintains a core professional focus on merging technical engineering with product and business strategy to advance transportation electrification across the modern automotive and aerospace sectors.
