Aske Ertmann

Aske Ertmann is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Deed, an enterprise social impact platform based in Berlin, Germany. He brings over 15 years of software architecture and engineering experience, specializing in building applications for mid-market and enterprise organizations. Previously, Ertmann served as a partner at a web development agency and held a core leadership role as the Release Manager for the open-source Neos CMS. He has also contributed his technical expertise as a Software Engineer for Every.org and serves in a volunteer capacity for Pencils of Promise. At Deed, which participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2021 cohort and employs approximately 40 people, he oversees the technological development of human resources tools. His current focus centers on leveraging his enterprise software background to build scalable technology solutions that drive corporate philanthropy.
