Asim Shrestha

Asim Shrestha is the Co-founder of Reworkd AI, an artificial intelligence startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before launching his current venture, he worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services from 2019 to 2022, focusing on cloud computing infrastructure and full-stack software engineering. He holds a computer science degree from the University of British Columbia and participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2023 accelerator batch. At Reworkd AI, Shrestha co-created AgentGPT, an open-source autonomous AI agent platform that rapidly accumulated over 30,000 stars on GitHub. The enterprise automation company subsequently secured $4.5 million in seed funding in April 2024 from institutional investors including Panache Ventures. His current professional focus centers on developing scalable autonomous AI agents and enterprise-grade web data extraction tools for modern software applications and workflows.
