Ashwin Kumar

Ashwin Kumar is the Founder of Voxel AI Labs, an artificial intelligence product development firm based in New York, New York. With 11 years of coding experience and seven years working directly as a software developer, he previously held product management roles at Stripe, where he successfully launched the company's Banking-as-a-Service products. Prior to his tenure at Stripe, Kumar was the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sway Finance, a machine learning bookkeeping automation startup that participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2016 batch. His diverse technical and financial background also includes developing software for edge inference at Mythic, executing data science initiatives for Y Combinator's Startup School program, and holding early roles in investment banking. Kumar's current professional focus centers on translating complex technical systems into commercial applications by building agentic workflows and advanced machine learning products.
