Ashwin Jainarayanan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Granza Bio, an early-stage biotechnology company based in the Oxford and London area, United Kingdom. Established in 2023, the venture-backed biotech startup develops next-generation targeted therapeutics and novel drug delivery systems directly inspired by the human immune system. Prior to launching this commercial enterprise, Jainarayanan earned a DPhil in Interdisciplinary Bioscience from the University of Oxford, where his academic domain expertise centered on immunology and cell biology. During his academic tenure, he authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications detailing immune cell cytotoxicity, supramolecular attack particles, and the specific mechanisms by which immune cells target and destroy cancer or infected cells.
