Ash Rhazaly

Ash Rhazaly is an Engineering Manager at Deel based in Singapore, where he leads the development of new fintech products including Corporate Card and Employee Salary Advances. Prior to his current role, he was the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Friz, an artificial intelligence platform backed by Y Combinator. He drove product development for the startup during the Winter 2021 batch until its eventual acquisition by Deel. Earlier in his nine years of software engineering experience, Rhazaly served as the first Asia Pacific engineering hire at PPRO, establishing the initial technical infrastructure and building the regional engineering team. He also held software engineering roles at DBS Bank after earning a university degree in economics. His current focus centers on scaling technical teams and building employee financial services using modern infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
