Asa Schachar

Asa Schachar is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Voicepanel, an artificial intelligence startup backed by Y Combinator in its Winter 2024 batch. He holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvard University and began his career as an engineer at Microsoft. Schachar subsequently joined Optimizely, where he partnered with John Provine to lead the development of a developer-focused product, scaling it to $40 million in revenue. In 2021, he co-founded the insurtech startup Level, participating in Y Combinator's Summer 2021 cohort before the company was acquired by Vouch. Following the acquisition, he managed half of the engineering department at Vouch before departing to establish his current venture. His professional background centers on scaling B2B software platforms, leading technical teams through acquisitions, and developing AI-driven customer research tools.
