Arya Marwaha

Arya Marwaha is the co-founder and CEO of Contrario, an AI-powered autonomous recruiting agency based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing the firm in 2025, he dropped out of a dual bachelor's and master's degree program in artificial intelligence at Stanford University to pursue early-stage technology entrepreneurship. His prior professional experience includes leading software product development initiatives at BCG X and scaling five different early-stage startups, including a cryptocurrency venture that secured Series A funding. Backed by Y Combinator in its Winter 2025 startup batch, Contrario currently operates with six to ten employees and has achieved $330,000 in monthly recurring revenue across more than fifteen enterprise and startup customers.
