Arjun Maheswaran

Arjun Maheswaran is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RowBoat Labs, an artificial intelligence startup based in Bengaluru, India. Before launching his current three-person B2B venture as part of a Summer 2024 cohort, he co-founded an earlier machine learning startup that was successfully acquired by the publicly traded cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. He previously held a key leadership position at Amazon Web Services (AWS). During his tenure there, he shaped the division's AI strategy and directed engineering teams developing core machine learning services and large language models. Maheswaran earned a degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008 and holds a notable 2020 patent focused on controlling LLM generation through reinforcement learning techniques. His current work centers on building multi-agent systems and deploying large-scale generative AI solutions to solve complex engineering and product challenges.
