Apurva Mehta

Apurva Mehta is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Versa Networks, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He established the enterprise networking company in 2012 alongside his brother Kumar Mehta, subsequently helping the firm secure over $300 million in total funding from investors including BlackRock. Prior to this venture, Mehta served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect for the Mobility Business Unit at Juniper Networks. During his tenure there, he led the technical development of the multi-billion-dollar MX Series routers and received the Founder’s Award for technical leadership. His earlier engineering career includes several senior software architecture roles, supported by a computer science degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Mehta currently focuses on advancing cloud-native infrastructure, specifically driving technical strategy for Secure Access Service Edge and software-defined networking platforms.
