Anurup Ganguli

Anurup Ganguli is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Elephas Biosciences, an early-stage biotechnology company based in Madison, Wisconsin. Under his leadership, the oncology diagnostics firm has successfully raised more than $100 million in total venture funding, including a $55 million Series C round in January 2024 and a $41.5 million Series B round in 2022. The company's financial backers include prominent institutional investors such as Northpond Ventures and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. Prior to establishing Elephas, he earned a doctorate in bioengineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where his academic research led to multiple peer-reviewed scientific papers on microfluidics and nanotechnology. Ganguli currently focuses his professional efforts on developing ex vivo diagnostic platforms that evaluate how live tumor fragments respond to immunotherapies, aiming to improve clinical decision-making in cancer treatment.
