Anthony Woods

Anthony Woods is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Grafana Labs, based in Perth, Australia. Alongside co-founders Raj Dutt and Torkel Ödegaard, he established the open-source observability platform in 2014, helping scale the enterprise to a $6 billion valuation following a $270 million Series D funding round in 2022. Backed by investors including Sequoia Capital, the company has raised over $500 million in total venture funding to date, and its software infrastructure is utilized by more than 20 million active users globally. Prior to Grafana Labs, Woods served as a systems architect and managed operations for Voxel in Singapore before its acquisition by Internap, and he previously developed tooling for Visa's global payment systems. His current technical strategy focuses on advancing open-source data visualization, cloud infrastructure monitoring, and AI-driven analysis for complex distributed systems.
