Anthony Humay

Anthony Humay is the Co-Founder and Member of Technical Staff at Raycaster, an enterprise artificial intelligence startup based in New York, New York. He brings nine years of software engineering experience to the Y Combinator-backed company, which automates manual research workflows across papers, patents, and clinical trials for commercial and life sciences teams. Prior to Raycaster, Humay served as a Senior Software Engineer at Meta, where he developed multimodal assistants and AI devices. He previously held a similar senior engineering role at Apple, focusing on machine learning-driven assistant flows. His earlier career includes working as a Software Engineer at Snap Inc., founding the early startup Midzy, and earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UCLA. Humay currently focuses on designing human-centered AI agents to accelerate complex scientific research workflows and enterprise data analysis.
