Andy Lee

Andy Lee is the Co-Founder of Deeptrace, an artificial intelligence reliability platform for engineering teams, based in California, United States. His startup is backed by Y Combinator as part of the startup accelerator's Fall 2025 batch, focusing on tools that help developers investigate incidents and resolve system problems. Prior to launching Deeptrace, Lee worked at Tesla, where he focused on visualization and simulation engineering for the Optimus humanoid robot program. He also served in engineering roles at SpaceX, contributing to build and flight reliability systems across the Starship, Falcon, and Dragon aerospace vehicles. Lee recently appeared on the Scaling Dev Tools podcast to discuss customer acquisition strategies and securing the first ten users for technical products. His career centers on applying his deep technology expertise to build mission-critical reliability infrastructure for complex artificial intelligence and aerospace systems.
