Andrés Vélez

Andrés Vélez is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tributi, a financial technology company based in Colombia. He established the tax compliance software platform in 2017 to automate tax preparation for individuals and small businesses across Latin American markets. Under his leadership, Tributi participated in the Winter 2018 batch of Y Combinator and scaled into a leading consumer tax application within the regional technology ecosystem. Prior to launching his own venture, Vélez served as the Head of Strategy at Rappi, where he guided corporate strategy for the Latin American delivery application. He also brings earlier professional experience from the financial services sector, having previously worked as a private equity investor focused on value creation and operational efficiency. His current focus remains on expanding consumer finance solutions and advancing tax technology infrastructure throughout Latin America.
