Andrew Gritsevskiy

Andrew Gritsevskiy is the Founder of RunRL and Co-founder of Cavela, based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on reinforcement learning and supply chain automation. He established RunRL in 2025 with a three-person team to provide reinforcement learning infrastructure as a service, securing backing from Y Combinator for its Spring 2025 batch. Prior to this venture, he launched Cavela in 2023 to deploy large language models for product sourcing, successfully raising a $2 million seed funding round the following year. His earlier technical experience includes serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, where he contributed to applied machine learning research and model development. After receiving a Thiel Fellowship in 2022, he left his studies at the University of Toronto to fully concentrate on building enterprise-grade artificial intelligence infrastructure and agent optimization platforms.
