Andrew Ashur

Andrew Ashur is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lucid Bots, an industrial robotics manufacturer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He established the enterprise while completing a double major in three years at Davidson College, where he simultaneously competed as a Division I athlete and currently serves as an Innovator-in-Residence. Under his executive leadership, the Y Combinator-backed startup has raised $34 million in venture funding and deployed more than 600 autonomous robots across the commercial facility management and cleaning sector. Recognized on the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Manufacturing and Industry, Ashur directs product development for drones that clean and coat building exteriors up to eight times faster than manual crews. His current professional focus centers on addressing severe labor shortages in dangerous, labor-intensive construction markets through advanced artificial intelligence and autonomous hardware solutions.
