Andreas Jansson

Andreas Jansson is the Co-founder of Replicate, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to establishing the company in 2020 alongside Ben Firshman, he worked as a Machine Learning Engineer and Researcher at Spotify, where he developed research tools and infrastructure for audio processing and recommendation systems. Jansson holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Machine Learning for Music from Queen Mary University of London and has published multiple academic papers on deep learning applied to audio analysis. Under his technical leadership, Replicate has secured more than $50 million in total venture funding, including a $40 million Series B round led by Andreessen Horowitz in December 2023. His current professional focus centers on building scalable developer tools that simplify the deployment and integration of complex open-source machine learning models.
