Andrea Mazzocchi

Andrea Mazzocchi is the Co-founder and CEO of Play Health, a perimenopause care platform based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to her current role, she served as the Co-founder and CEO of Known Medicine, an oncology precision medicine startup that participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2020 cohort and raised approximately $8.2 million in Seed and Series A venture funding. Following Known Medicine's acquisition by Pathos AI in the spring of 2023, she transitioned to the acquiring company to serve as Vice President of Partnerships. She holds a doctorate degree in biomedical engineering, bringing deep academic research expertise in tissue engineering and tumor microenvironments to her subsequent entrepreneurial ventures. Her career focuses on leveraging biotechnology and precision medicine to address critical gaps in specialized patient care, particularly within oncology and women's midlife health.
