Anam Lakhani

Anam Lakhani is the Co-founder and Co-CEO of Alinea Invest, an AI-powered wealth management application based in New York City. She previously worked as a Summer Analyst at Citigroup after earning a degree in Economics from Barnard College at Columbia University. Alongside co-founder Eve Halimi, Lakhani launched Alinea Invest through the Y Combinator Winter 2021 accelerator batch and subsequently secured a $3.4 million initial seed funding round. In 2023, she directed the expansion of the platform's capabilities by introducing an artificial intelligence assistant designed to help users research and construct thematic investment portfolios. Her work in the financial technology sector led to her inclusion in the 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Finance. Lakhani currently focuses on developing consumer technology that expands stock market accessibility and educational resources for a new generation of retail investors.
