Amrutavarsh Kinagi is the Co-founder and Machine Learning Researcher at EzDubs, an artificial intelligence startup developing real-time speech translation technology. Prior to this, he co-founded Helen AI, an accessibility company building lip-reading tools for the hearing impaired, which was named a runner-up for the Dyson Award in Hong Kong. He previously led autonomous systems initiatives for the robotics team at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, securing a first-class award at the 2018 NXP Cup and a runner-up finish at ROBO-ONE Japan. Kinagi holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University, where he worked as a speech AI researcher, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from HKUST. His current focus centers on advancing machine learning applications for live, expressive cross-lingual conversations and autonomous systems.
