Amos Gewirtz

Amos Gewirtz is a Partner at the venture capital firm Vizy, based in New York City. He previously worked as an Analyst at Bridgewater Associates from 2016 to 2019, where he focused on quantitative analysis and macroeconomics before transitioning into the early-stage venture capital industry. Since joining Vizy in 2022, Gewirtz has helped manage a firm portfolio of over 20 investments and maintains a personal portfolio of more than 10 angel investments. He recently led an investment in the coding startup Replit during the first quarter of 2024 and spoke on venture trends at TechCrunch Disrupt in October 2025. As a 2016 graduate of the University of Chicago with a degree in economics, he currently focuses on sourcing and supporting seed to Series A technology startups across the enterprise software, fintech, and artificial intelligence sectors.
