Amey Chaugule

Amey Chaugule is a software engineering leader and former Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Denormalized based in San Francisco, California. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Chaugule spent four years at Uber from 2016 to 2020, serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead for the Eats Real-Time Pricing team. Following his tenure at Uber, he worked as a Staff Software Engineer focusing on data and machine learning platforms at both Stripe and Coinbase. He previously gained engineering experience at Yahoo and Rescale before launching Denormalized, a startup associated with Y Combinator. His career spans over a decade of building high-scale data infrastructure, with a specialized focus on marketplace optimizations and algorithmic pricing.
