Allen Pan

Allen Pan is the founder of Industrial Next, an industrial automation startup based in San Francisco, California. He established the company to apply autonomous manufacturing technologies to global electric vehicle production, successfully guiding the nine-person team through the Y Combinator Winter 2022 batch and securing $12 million in funding in June 2022. Prior to launching his current venture, Pan spent over ten years developing flexible manufacturing and autonomous driving systems for major automotive corporations. His previous engineering leadership roles include serving as the autonomous factory lead at Tesla in Fremont, an advanced autonomous control engineer at General Motors, and the chief architect at Neolix. Drawing on this extensive automotive background, Pan currently focuses on equipping global automakers with advanced smart factory capabilities, utilizing edge computing sensors and defect-detection algorithms to optimize complex production data frameworks.
