Allen Calderwood

Allen Calderwood is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Hadrius, an artificial intelligence-driven compliance platform for financial firms, based in New York. Before launching his current venture, he worked as a software engineer specializing in mobile and infrastructure development at Google and Chime. Calderwood previously co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of Quantbase, an automated alternative investment platform and SEC-registered investment advisor. After dropping out of college to build Quantbase, he scaled the firm to millions in assets under management in under one year before selling the business to a competitor. He utilized the proceeds from this exit to fund Hadrius, which subsequently participated in the Winter 2023 cohort of the Y Combinator accelerator program. His current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to automate regulatory workflows and securities compliance for broker-dealers.
