She developed her foundational technical expertise by studying engineering at the University of Waterloo, a prominent academic institution that serves as a primary pipeline for technology talent across North America. Prior to establishing her own company, Wu gained practical industry experience in the autonomous mobility sector by working as a Software Engineering Intern at Zoox, a self-driving vehicle company operating as an independent subsidiary of Amazon. Beyond her professional commitments in the technology industry, she maintains active personal interests in watercolor painting and performing improv comedy. Wu's current professional focus centers on leveraging her academic engineering background and her practical software development experience from the autonomous vehicle space to build and scale operations at Bluma.
