Alexis Gauba

Alexis Gauba is the Founder of the artificial intelligence infrastructure startup Raindrop and is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. She previously studied in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences program at UC Berkeley before dropping out to pursue technology entrepreneurship in the decentralized finance sector. Gauba served as a Co-Founder of the cryptocurrency options platform Opyn, where she engineered novel financial products and helped scale the protocol to process more than $15 billion in total trading volume. During her tenure at the company, she notably invented the power perpetual, a unique financial derivative asset class with no expiration date, which culminated in Opyn's successful acquisition by Coinbase. Her current focus centers on artificial intelligence infrastructure, specifically building advanced observability and error-tracking software platforms to ensure the operational reliability of autonomous AI agents.
