Alexis Bonnafont

Alexis Bonnafont is a startup founder participating in the Y Combinator Winter 2025 batch, currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. He previously earned an undergraduate academic degree in physics and computer science from École Polytechnique, establishing a rigorous technical foundation before relocating to the United States. In September 2023, Bonnafont enrolled at Stanford University to pursue a Research Master’s degree in Energy Science Engineering. During his academic tenure, he conducted specialized research within the Benson Lab, focusing on the intersection of advanced computational methods and complex energy systems. He recently transitioned from academic research into early-stage technology entrepreneurship by securing a position in the prominent Silicon Valley startup accelerator program.
