Alexander Haddad

Alexander Haddad is a Neurosurgery Resident at UCSF and the Scientific Co-founder of Kopra Bio, currently based in San Francisco, California. During his active clinical residency at UCSF, he has co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications focusing extensively on neuro-oncology, spinal neurosurgery, and predictive modeling for complex surgical complications. His academic research portfolio includes contributing to a May 2024 Global Spine Journal study evaluating outpatient intravenous antibiotic treatments for spinal neurosurgery patients diagnosed with spondylodiscitis. Additionally, Haddad has participated in advanced amyotrophic lateral sclerosis research, presenting clinical findings through official proceedings at the 24th Annual Meeting of the NEALS Consortium in 2024. His current professional focus centers on advancing early-stage biotechnology applications, specifically developing novel cell and gene therapy delivery mechanisms for the central nervous system to transform targeted cancer treatments at Kopra Bio.
