Alexander Björkenstam

Alexander Björkenstam is the CEO and Co-founder of Bemlo, a technology company focused on scheduling and workforce management solutions established in January 2021. He holds dual Master of Science degrees in Engineering Physics and Industrial Engineering and Management from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Prior to his current venture, he co-founded and led yPath, a digital platform designed to connect students with educational opportunities. Björkenstam also participated in the Y Combinator accelerator program as part of the W22 cohort to scale Bemlo's operations. Additionally, he has been involved with the Prince Daniel's Fellowship mentoring program at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and previously worked as a referee for the Swedish Football Association. His career combines a technical foundation in engineering with entrepreneurial leadership to develop digital services that optimize human resources and operational efficiency.
