Alex Solomon

Alex Solomon is the Founder and CEO of Solo Ventures and a Board Member at PagerDuty, based in San Francisco, California. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at PagerDuty, leading the enterprise software platform through Y Combinator in 2010 and its subsequent 2019 initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange. Before his entrepreneurial career, Solomon worked as a Software Engineer at Amazon and studied computer science and software engineering at Stanford University and the University of Waterloo. He currently manages a venture studio portfolio containing over five seed investments, recently raising $2 million for Solo Ventures in January 2026 and launching the tooling startup AIForge. He also advises emerging technology firms. Solomon leverages his technical background to focus on building early-stage artificial intelligence, enterprise SaaS, and fintech companies.
