Alex Popp

Alex Popp is the Co-Founder and CTO of Demodesk, an AI-powered sales coaching software platform based in Munich, Germany. Since co-founding the Y Combinator-backed enterprise in 2017, he has helped secure $15 million in total venture funding, which includes an $8 million Series A financing round led by Balderton Capital. In his current executive capacity, Popp oversees the organization's technical strategy and engineering operations, managing direct reports that include the Head of Engineering and the Head of Product. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, he worked as a software engineer in California between September 2014 and October 2015, and subsequently served as a visiting computer science researcher at Stanford University. Popp leverages his formal education in electrical engineering and technology management to focus on developing scalable B2B SaaS solutions that automate CRM workflows and provide real-time sales assistance.
