Alex Ngai

Alex Ngai is an artificial intelligence engineer and founder at Sudocode, an early-stage software technology startup focused on improving software building through autonomous code generation. Prior to his current role, he served as an AI research engineer across multiple advanced technology divisions, specifically contributing to applied projects at Google Brain, Google X, and Mineral. During his tenure at these corporate research laboratories, his technical engineering work primarily centered on advanced natural language processing, machine perception, and the development of autonomous agents. In the summer of 2023, he formally transitioned to the private startup sector when Sudocode was selected to participate in the Y Combinator S23 accelerator batch alongside other emerging technology companies. Ngai's current professional focus centers on leveraging his applied machine learning background to build next-generation developer tools that automate complex software engineering workflows.
