Alex Neff

Alex Neff is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Red Barn Robotics, an agricultural technology startup developing autonomous weeding robots. Founded in 2023, the five-person company was recently accepted into the Y Combinator Winter 2025 batch to accelerate the commercial deployment of its autonomous farming systems. The firm focuses on engineering compact, ground-level robotic units designed to navigate crop rows and manage weeds without human intervention. Prior to launching his current venture in the agricultural sector, Neff served as a Senior Product Manager at Amazon. During his tenure at the technology corporation, he directed the technical development and enterprise implementation of new machine learning-based search algorithms. His current focus centers on combining his enterprise product management experience with advanced machine learning and robotics to automate agricultural processes and scale specialized hardware solutions.
