Alex Federation

Alex Federation is a biotechnology entrepreneur and research scientist currently serving as the Co-founder of Talus Bio in Seattle, Washington. Prior to establishing the therapeutics company in 2020, he completed extensive academic training in medicinal chemistry, high-throughput drug screening, and early-stage drug development under the guidance of Jay Bradner at Harvard University. Following his tenure in Massachusetts, Federation relocated to the Pacific Northwest to pursue subsequent advanced scientific training specifically focused on the complex intersection of epigenomics and proteomics. In his current leadership capacity at Talus Bio, he directs the ongoing development and commercial application of the startup's proprietary gene regulator platform to advance targeted drug discovery initiatives.
