Alex Chantavy

Alex Chantavy is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of SubImage, a cybersecurity company focused on building advanced infrastructure and developer tooling for modern enterprises. Prior to founding SubImage, he served as a Staff Engineer at Lyft, where he engineered a proprietary container scanning and automated remediation platform for the organization's internal systems. During his tenure at the company, Chantavy also created and launched Cartography, a widely adopted open-source security graph tool designed to map and consolidate complex cloud infrastructure assets. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Security Engineer on the Microsoft Red Team, specializing in cloud hacking and advanced vulnerability assessments, following a technical security role at the National Security Agency. His professional background centers on advancing cloud security infrastructure, DevSecOps methodologies, and open-source security tooling for large enterprise computing environments.
