Alex Alvarado

Alex Alvarado is the Co-founder and CEO of Daybreak Health, a digital mental health clinic based in San Francisco, California. He graduated from Stanford University in 2012 and has spent over a decade developing digital health products aimed at improving patient access and outcomes. Under his leadership, Daybreak Health has scaled to serve more than 1.5 million students across the United States through business-to-business partnerships with local school districts. Alvarado has successfully raised over $25 million in venture capital for the company, including a $13 million Series B funding round in August 2023 led by Union Square Ventures. Prior to that, he secured a $10 million Series A round backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners in February 2022. His current focus remains on expanding youth mental health services and scaling healthtech infrastructure for educational institutions.
