Alek Stefanov

Alek Stefanov is a software engineer and the Founding Engineer at Caseflood AI, currently based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studies computer science at Carnegie Mellon University, where he builds upon his early academic success as the winner of a Pennsylvania state mathematics olympiad. Demonstrating an early aptitude for consumer technology, Stefanov successfully scaled a network of Instagram accounts to millions of followers at age 14. By age 18, he developed a specialized artificial intelligence agent designed to fully automate the regulatory process of obtaining a real estate license. He subsequently joined Caseflood AI as a foundational technical hire, contributing to the core engineering efforts that supported the company during the Y Combinator Winter 2025 batch. Stefanov maintains a primary professional focus on developing complex artificial intelligence agents, workflow automation software, and scalable engineering infrastructure for early-stage technology startups.
