Alejandro Zecler

Alejandro Zecler is the Mexico City-based Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mendel, a corporate spend management and B2B payments platform serving large enterprises in Latin America. Under his leadership, Mendel secured $60 million in equity and debt financing in late 2023 to expand its corporate card and expense management offerings across the Mexican market. Prior to launching his current venture, the 31-year-old Industrial Engineer founded Zetech, a software-as-a-service document management solution operating across the broader Latin American region. Zecler successfully scaled the enterprise software company and orchestrated its acquisition by the European software group Visma in 2020, achieving his first notable exit by age 27. His entrepreneurial background centers on building scalable financial technology and enterprise software solutions tailored to the specific operational needs of the Latin American market.
