Aldo Piaggio

Aldo Piaggio is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Polo, an early-stage technology startup operating within the Web3 and blockchain sector. He established the enterprise to develop decentralized software solutions and subsequently led the company through the highly competitive Y Combinator accelerator program as a participant in the Winter 2023 batch. Prior to his transition into early-stage technology and venture leadership, Piaggio worked in the traditional financial sector, serving as an Investment Banking Division Analyst at Goldman Sachs. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan, providing a quantitative foundation that he pairs with practical professional experience as a product designer. Piaggio currently focuses on leveraging this multidisciplinary background across finance, industrial engineering, and product design to drive Polo’s strategic growth and product development in the emerging Web3 ecosystem.
