Alan Duong

Alan Duong is the founder and lead developer of Cyberdesk, an artificial intelligence startup building self-learning computer use agents for developer workflow automation. He previously studied computer science at Rice University before dropping out to join a PearX-backed artificial intelligence startup as a founding engineer. During his tenure at the venture-backed company, which secured a $2 million seed round, he successfully scaled a consumer application to thousands of paying users. Prior to his work in the private technology sector, Duong served as a software engineer at the NASA Launch Control Center. He began building in the computer use space following its initial release in October 2024, leading to the creation of Cyberdesk to automate complex desktop environments. His current professional focus centers on advancing autonomous developer tools and pioneering self-learning agent infrastructure for the broader software engineering ecosystem.
