Akshit Bansal

Akshit Bansal is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Statiq, an electric vehicle charging network based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology, providing the technical foundation for his work in power systems and sustainable energy. Bansal established Statiq in 2019 to address EV adoption challenges in developing economies by building affordable charging infrastructure. Under his leadership, the company participated in Y Combinator's Winter 2020 cohort and subsequently raised a $27.5 million Series A funding round led by Shell Ventures in June 2022. The capital supports the deployment of thousands of charging stations across India, an expansion effort that earned Bansal recognition on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list. His current focus remains on expanding accessible clean-tech infrastructure to accelerate the transition to electric mobility in emerging markets.
