Ahmed Omar

Ahmed Omar is the Co-founder of Odiggo, an automotive parts marketplace, and is currently based in Cairo, Egypt. He began his career selling products online at age 13 while simultaneously competing as a mixed martial artist, eventually winning three gold medals as Egypt's top-ranked fighter. After relocating to New York City in 2014, Omar transitioned into the technology sector to develop a consumer e-commerce brand. Over three and a half years, he scaled this retail business to $55 million in total sales, securing the number one ranking on Amazon for specific product categories. In 2019, he returned to the MENA region to partner with co-founder Nasser to launch Odiggo. The platform subsequently captured more than 55% of the regional market share for automotive components. Omar's current focus centers on scaling digital marketplaces and consumer technology platforms.
