Ahmed Galal

Ahmed Galal is the Head of Experience at Noon, a regional e-commerce platform based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is a product design and user experience professional with over 20 years of experience building software for both large-scale technology companies and early-stage startups. Prior to his current position, Galal worked in product and experience leadership at Careem, the Middle Eastern ride-hailing network that was subsequently acquired by Uber. Earlier in his career, he served as the founding designer for the messaging startup HoverChat. During this period, he also participated in the Winter 2014 batch of the Y Combinator accelerator program. His current focus centers on shaping digital product experiences and managing design teams within the consumer technology, mobility, and e-commerce sectors across the Middle East.
