Ahmed ElKawass

Ahmed ElKawass is the co-founder and CEO of ShipBlu, an e-commerce fulfillment and delivery startup based in Cairo, Egypt. He established the logistics platform in 2020 alongside co-founders Ali Nasser and Abdelrahman Hosny to optimize regional supply chain operations. Under his leadership, ShipBlu completed the Y Combinator Summer 2021 accelerator program and secured $2.4 million in seed funding to target 99% population coverage across the Egyptian market. Prior to entering the technology sector, ElKawass held sales and supply chain positions at multinational consumer goods corporations including Unilever, Nestle, and Reckitt Benckiser. He subsequently transitioned into marketing and advertising roles at Leo Burnett and JWT, building upon his Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Economics from Northumbria University. His professional background centers on leveraging traditional corporate supply chain and marketing expertise to scale venture-backed e-commerce logistics infrastructure.
