Adhit Sankaran

Adhit Sankaran is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Janet AI, an artificial intelligence startup participating in the Y Combinator Summer 2025 batch. Prior to launching his current venture, he served as the Founding Engineer and GenAI Engineering Lead for an earlier Y Combinator-backed technology company in the Summer 2023 cohort. Sankaran also gained corporate software engineering experience by completing two technical internships at Google. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where his academic research primarily centered on reinforcement learning models. Subsequently, he earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Cornell University with a specialized focus on generative artificial intelligence research. His professional background centers on leveraging advanced machine learning systems and rigorous academic research to architect and develop early-stage generative AI products.
