Adam Wazzan

Adam Wazzan is the co-founder of Zero, an open-source AI-native email client, and is based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. Alongside co-founder Nizar Abi Zaher, he launched the San Francisco-headquartered startup in 2025 with a two-person team to develop software that prioritizes inboxes, summarizes threads, and drafts replies. The company participated in the Y Combinator Spring 2025 batch, securing the accelerator's standard $500,000 SAFE investment to scale operations. In July 2025, Wazzan helped release Zero's MIT-licensed codebase and public beta, attracting investment interest from six venture capital firms within a 90-day period while actively hiring full-stack and security engineers. Prior to establishing Zero, he co-founded Orchid AI, where he developed a proactive work agent. Wazzan's current professional focus centers on building B2B productivity tools and advancing open-source software for enterprise work automation.
