Adam Regelmann

Adam Regelmann is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Quartzy, a life science supply marketplace and lab management platform based in Hayward, California. He met co-founder Jayant Kulkarni while completing his MD and PhD degrees at Columbia University, ultimately bypassing a planned medical career in gastroenterology to launch the software business. Founded as a Y Combinator backed enterprise in the summer of 2011, Quartzy has since grown to employ 100 people and currently serves more than 200,000 scientists worldwide. In his current executive capacity, Regelmann oversees the product, design, and engineering teams, having previously managed the startup's sales, marketing, and accounting functions during its early stages. Following his residency in Internal Medicine, his professional focus shifted entirely to developing B2B SaaS solutions and e-commerce infrastructure to streamline research operations for the biotechnology sector.
